There's chocolate in my pillow
And doughnuts in my dreams
My teddy bear holds cookies
It's bursting at the seams

The peppermints are flowers
The candy corns are bees
And liquid crystal sugar
Is dripping from the trees

There's bubblegum and sour straws
Fencing in the cake
And peanut brittle ganders
Are pad'ling through the lake

The sky holds cotton candy clouds
The clouds hold cherry rain
And tiny little car'mel drops
Are skipping up the lane

The world is my own candy shop
At least until I 'wake
With sticky lips and sugared grins
And quite a stomach ache.
