SWITCHFOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
K, if you have ever even heard of Switchfoot, and Semi-like their music, you MUST see them live. This, was seriously, one of the two best concerts I have EVER been too (I still can't decide between it and Dave Matthews). SO amazing, I wanted to go all over again the minute I walked out the door and I still do. Copeland opened the show was pretty good. I definitely enjoyed their stuff. "We were walkin' Downtown, Yeah, my favorite part of town..." The The Jealous Sound came on and were also pretty good "Kiss me on the MOUTH!!!!!!!!!!!" (That's for you Nick Nes).
Then Switchfoot just rocked the house. They have to be one of the most down to earth successful bands of all time. They were outside walking around downtown Santa Cruz all day and talking to the people waiting in line. Jeremy even got to have lunch with Jon and Tim. I have such respect for them as a band, and I just love their heart to use their talent and position for ministry, and most of all to bring all the glory to God (I just love how I can SEE and HEAR God glorified through all of their songs).
Then, on Sunday morning when my radio alarm went off, Channel 104.9 was playing "Meant to Live." When the song was over the DJ said that he felt bad for anyone who missed the concert the night before cause Switchfoot, in his words, "Tore it up." The next time they are out here, I am there. All in all, SO FUN!!!!!!!!!
