I'm gonna try something new this time...
I'm really excited right now.
Landon and I are working together for our senior projects. We're going to shoot a short film. I'm doing mine on directing and he's doing his on writing a screenplay. Well, to elaborate much more thoroughly: I am doing mine on the role of digitial cameras in independent films, and he's doing his on adaptation. (From Book to Movie) We are both working under I good friend of mine I recently hooked back up with, Davin Maske. We go way back. I hadn't seen him in a couple of years, but he graduated with a degree in film, and started his own production company. Right now, he's doing music videos, but he wants to start shooting features. He has the talent to. Anyway, I digress, so Landon is writing the script, and I am directing it. And we're gonna use all our gear to score it, too! It's definitely going to be the most creative project I have done yet. I'm really excited about it.
I look at my life and the people I know, the people I am in bands with, our connections, all of my good friends, and it's like this big happy family of creative people. I think that all that's going on right now with our different talents is the start of something really big. I have a feeling we are going to be a HUGE collaborative force when we get out of college. I can't wait.
