I understand but I still believe ppl were made to eat animals. I believe as ppl we are entrusted to protect the animals and kill them under humane and respectful conditions and honor the animals who sacrifice their lives for us, much in the way Native Americans have. I wish the government would take the money they shell out to stupid programs that don't work and use it to enforce humane and clean enviornments to the animals we produce products from.
YES, I totally agree, more humane environments and ways of raising and killing the animals are a necessity, as well as action against the pollution resulting from factory farming. That is a great point, the Native-American style of doing things is a lot more appealing than the way things are going down now. Just as it is, I don't want to be inviolved with the current system and all its downfalls, and would rather let my money speak for me by supporting other alternatives that I agree with morally and health-wise.
I know what you mean, I often wish I could become a veg but I just don't have it in me to give up meat completely. I do know that if I had to actually kill my own food I wouldn't be able to do it, I'd starve before that.
It's scary too about how there are so many drugs just in our drinking water from all the ppl taking meds and peeing them out :X Andrew told me (he works with kids) kids are going through puberty much sooner than they used to due to all the hormones in our food and water.
That water bit really scares me, I didn't know that. But it's true that chemicals and drugs passed through an organism's system can still be potent for over ten years after it's been digested, depending on what it is.
