posting pictures
i am posting a few pictures, which i tried to print before, but photobucket was giving me trouble. it still is 'cause that last one came out really big for no reason. i'll try to repost it. not much is new here. i've gone out dancing a couple times, its pretty fun. so weird: being in a roomful of nz students as they drunkenly sing along and dance to a song about going home to west virginia. one guy actually tried to get me to jump with him to "summer of '69."
another thing which i feel is important about the importing of popular culture:
of the 467 american films available in the av library, 3 of those are the 80's breakdance classics: beat street, breakin, and breakin 2: electric boogaloo. if nothing else, this makes me proud to be an american.
the image below is from behind the gate of the botanical gardens, a lovely place i walk through most days. ever since they told me not to skateboard.
