Meta for the 'Guardian Angels' episode of House

I actually kind of liked the episode overall - which is more to say that it annoyed me less than previous episodes, not that it was necessarily high art or anything, but anyhow…
I ADORED ‘Bosley’/Old!Guy. For a few moments, he actually supplanted Wilson in my love, and I totally remarked to Starhubby that he needed his own spin-off….so of course ( Read more... )

i'm reeeeeeeeeeeeeally over foreman. he really needs to drop his "i'm too good for PPTH" act because cuddy is right...he turned into house (and i think he would have been an egomaniacal doctor no matter where he did his fellowship) and noone else wants him, so stop pouting.

i missed wilson tonight, but old guy was a good substitute. i'm sad to see him go.

13 annoys the hell out of me. sure she's hot but like you said the whole "you don't know me, i'm myesterious!" thing is bland.

CTB is just meh for me.

love kal penn even though he hasn't done much...but i think he'd be funny to have on the team. plastic surgeon is cool too. random other guy needs more screen time so we know what he's about, but he's kinda cute so i don't mind him staying.

*nods* Foreman's an ass, and he wants to be top dog and he can't be, so long as House is running the show....but such assholery can only exist in the PPTH universe, so....he (and we the audience) are screwed. He has to come back.

You and me both. I don't know what TPTB are smoking, but it's time to STOP. No, really.

I don't even find her that hot. She's got pretty hair and great skin, that's about the only nice things I can say about her.

CTB is just meh for me.

Yeah, same here. She's a little TOO cutthroat, and she's so good at manipulating everyone that it defies logic.

I loved the old guy most of all and I knew he was leaving this episode so I was sad going in to the episode. I like how he left though, he was too much like House so House couldn't use him. House needs opposites to push him to think, not someone who works like he does ( ... )

I knew he was leaving but wasn't sure when. Trust the TPTB to let him shine, only to oust him. *rolls eyes*

I'm split about Cameron. I love that she's interacting with House, love that she's so not intimidated by him, especially love that she's taking a Wilson-like role but it was a bit too much at times.

Exactly. Makes me wonder why she wasn't like that before....oh right, that was because she was a potential love-interest. *more eyerolling*

I guess it's feast or famine. And knowing the pattern of this show, every time they give us a good Cameron episode, they drop her completely for the next bunch or stick her in a closet sexing up Chase.

Yeah, I'm bracing myself for that...

I think CTB told the patient about Stark to mess with Thirteen's head. I love CTB. I want her to stay. 'Not me. Do we need ( ... )

The competition is getting old and annoying...much like House.

When the hell is Huddy going to happen? I just want to get it over and done with not keep having to watch all these almost non-existent moments that will eventually lead to something. Because meantime they keep throwing us these House/Cam moments that are really starting to confuse me and for that matter, what up with Thirteen now? Is she also in love with House?

*headdesk*

Foreman is an annoying bitch and I want him gone. I can live without him because light is never as good as the original. Even if the original is growing a bit stale.

Oh SNAP! ;)

No idea...but maybe having Foreman 'manage him' (yeah, liked that worked so well LAST time) is the first step...if Cuddy doesn't have to manage him, maybe they figure that's enough 'distance' to let the Huddy plausibly take place?

Because meantime they keep throwing us these House/Cam moments that are really starting to confuse me and for that matter, what up with Thirteen now? Is she also in love with House?

I think since TPTB have decided this is the season of Huddy, that it's OK to have House and Cam get closer because nothing will come of it (and it keeps the H/Cam part of the audience hooked). I have no idea about 13 - she seems amused by him, but that's all (I hope).

House himself said before he might keep Old!Guy on as an assistant or something, right? How is that less 'legit' than keeping 13 because she killed someone? But he still keeps 13 and cans Old!Guy??? Maybe Old Guy didn't want to do that... I wish he had because a) I love him and b) I doubt he's going to get a better job somewhere else because he's not a doctor. Plus he put up with House's crap well ( ... )

I guess it's possible he wanted to be a full team member....but as you say, where else could he get such a job? I suspect the Continuity Gremlins are responsible...

I guess his logic in keeping 13 is that she made a horrible mistake but she learned from it? I'm not sure on that either.

Did she? I don't know. I'm not convinced.

I'm sick of CTB. I try to analyze why I can't stand her, because other peopel love her, but I'm not exactly sure what it is. I guess it's that she seems to have no ethics and only thinks of herself. Then again House is like that too...

I think that's my problem with her. She's TOO cutthroat, to the point of being cruel. And we've got House (and now Foreman) for that...we don't need another mini-House.

I didn't even think she had planted the idea about Stark but that makes plenty of sense. That must be the ( ... )

I disagree with your Mormon guy/Cameron facet. The whole point of Cameron egging him on to fight HOuse was so he could STAY. She is helping the newbies stand up to House/show the qualities House likes in his team. That is why at the end House asked her who she was going to help next.

I dislike Foreman as much as you do.

Boo to very little Wilson, yay to very little Chase.

Maybe. We'll see if she does indeed try to help another Duckling 2.0 next week.... (though if she doesn't, it may just be the Continuity Gremlins at work)

Boo to very little Wilson, yay to very little Chase.
