I DO love this. My first attempt to write a House/Supernatural crossover, and I adore it. The way the two fandoms wove themselves together, the interesting sex scene-intermingled-with-the-exorcism, the surprise kicker at the end. Not to mention, poor neglected Cam getting the opportunity to flirt with not one, but TWO handsome Winchester men (John and Dean). What’s not to love?

Yep, another crossover fic. But I love how combining fandoms gives me the opportunity to try out new things and add new twists to both fandoms. Like, how would it be for Cam to have a relationship with a guy as witty as House, but less of an asshole? Like, say, one Dean Winchester? How would Dean handle the prospect of a serious relationship, and having to hide his hunting life from the woman in question? And how would they both (and House) handle it when the Big Badass Demon and his family realize that Cam might be a good bargaining chip to use? Not to mention, John Winchester is alive (thus far, anyways) in this AU.
3) Heat Wave

Yes, it’s slash AND Wincest. That’s not why I love it. I love it for the banter between Dean and Sam, which I’ve read over a number of times and ALWAYS ‘feels’ to me like it came straight out of an actual episode. Even the sex (minimal as it is by my standards) feels almost…IC to me. Like, if our society was as open about sex as it was about violence, that this might actually believably HAPPEN in an actual episode.
4) Five Ways John Winchester Didn’t Get Laid, Chapter Two

Again, I love it because it FEELS like an actual Supernatural episode to me. Except in John’s head, and from John’s POV. This was also the first fic where I decided to see if I could make John’s sense of humour - and yes, I’m utterly convinced he has one - come to the fore. And I think it worked….which is why I love reading and rereading this fic.
And lastly:
5) I’d say it’s an even split between Trust and Control and the House/Cam/Wilson lab!smut fic.

One for how House and Cam could be in an established relationship (with a hefty side order of BDSM), and the other for how House and his best friend tag-team our lucky poor immunologist. In an IC way. Definitely a challenge, and that much more fun to step back and enjoy the finished product.
