Tom jumped out of the taxi cab as soon as the driver stopped at a red light, screaming bloody murder.
"Fuck, he's been trying to fucking kill me!!"
People stopped and stared as he ran down the street, muttering insults, his face an unhealthy and rather unattractive shade of red. No one dared asking what was going on, until finally, a little girl stood in his path, refusing to step aside. The blond stopped, breathing heavily.
She looked up and crossed her arms over her tiny chest, eyebrows almost disappearing beneath her fringe. "Who's trying to kill you?"
The musician looked down, knitting his own eyebrows together. "That crazy taxi driver over there! He's eating bananas. Tons of them. Everyone knows that the tiny black dots are poisonous. It's common knowledge. Why would anyone eat something like that?"
And with that, he stepped aside, walked around her and continued to walk at a controlled pace, shaking his head and muttering curses under his breath.
