I applied for an apartment. Crossing my fingers that i get approved. My credit is disastrous, so i dunno. One problem is that i have spent all the money i had saved up from my tax return. I really don't know where all of it went, but it's not like i spent it on frivolous things. If i had, i'd have some cool stuff to show for it! I had a bit of money leftover from my paychecks, but the trip to MO sapped all of that. So basically i am flat broke, and if i get approved for this apartment, i'll be hard-pressed to come up with the deposit. Let's not even talk about the money i'm going to need to get my electricity turned on, the money to rent a moving truck, and buying all the random necessities that i won't realize i don't have until i need them. I'd really like to buy a new couch, too, because the one i have is ripped up and has cat hair permanently embedded in it's fibers.

So basically, i'm really excited about getting the fuck out of here, but i'm nervous that i won't really be able to afford it. Plus, i'd be moving to Shepherdsville, and no one will want to come visit me way out there. It will be kind of like still living here, in that i never go anywhere and no one ever comes over, except without the mess, clutter, beasts, and psycho mom. I guess the pros outweigh the cons :)

If anyone's getting rid of a decent couch, let me know.
