Why is life cut so short for many people?
For anyone who knew Gil McLain, or even if you didn't...would you all please keep his family and friends in your prayers. He was killed friday morning on his way to school. He rode a motorcycle and a truck didn't see him, and hit and killed him. He was only 18.
I went to middle school with him, had classes with him, ate lunch with him, was friends with him, and I saw him probably a month ago at Cowboys, and we talked. He was a football player, friend, son, boyfriend and many other things to people. So please, for my sake, please pray for his family and friends who are mourning his death.
Why his life was cut short, no one will know. But for the years he lived, he was a good person, who wanted nothing more than to laugh and have a good time. I am very lucky to have known him and gotten the chance to laugh and be friends with him. I'm just very upset that I will never again get to see him, or talk to him. He's really gone...
