In other news, I'm sporting a scarf/headband today. I realize this was a fleeting spring/summer trend and that I may be the biggest posuer ever, but it's cute! It's staying.
Friday Fannish 5 survey b/c the JC/BSB collab coupled with Justin on Oprah has me feeling oldskool:
What five events or storylines do you want to see happen (or wish had happened) in canon? (I'm picking events in canon)
1. That MTV would have been able to pull off the New Kids on the Block reunion performance that was hyped for '99 VMAs back when Jordan Knight was the comeback kid and before he revealed what an idiot he was during The Surreal Life.
2. That BSB and NSYNC would have done a collaberation during the "United We Stand" benefit concert back in 2001.
3. That the Celebrity concert - in particular the final show in Florida - would be on DVD and/or VHS. I mean, we've got endless video of these guys during photoshoots, in airports and tour buses, but only blury, out-of-focus, contraband footage of what would have been their last show onstage together??
4. That BSB would have released/done a video to "Don't Want You Back" instead of that lameass "Larger Than Life" single b/c Kevin was at his PEAK OF HOTNESS and the song would have sustained their Millenium momentum.
5. That MTV would have had Britney/Christina kiss instead of the anti-climactic Christina/Madonna/Britney dud because both women were still rivals and hot at that time and it would have had more impact.
