Even with a lame host, that show was more entertaining that the past two VMAs. Highlights include:
Ashton wearing Sean Jean underwear! (Puff is so proud of his boy)
Queer Eye boys! (Um yeah. Jai is hot.)
Outkast! (Dre steals the show, but Big Boi is such a crazyass, class act)
Reality TV extravaganza! ( I believe Kathy Griffith when she says she watches it all)
Kennedy and Bill Bellemy (oh, how I miss when VJs had personality. Come back!)
Seriously though, I'm getting bored with Beyonce and The OC hype (it's a cute show and the guys do have loads of playful banter, but it's not the second coming. 90210 and DC ripoff much?) I do give it a six months before the blonde guy is total background scenery and Seth gets the girl next door. Cuz really. No comparison.
This has nothing do to with the show but the Black Eyed Peas are hot. That 'Shutup' song is a godawful but I can't get enough of the video. Durag boy and Wild Orchid chick had a good chemistry.
Moving onto Degrassi. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously I need to start making icons. Even though The N network plays these shows out of order and in the most inconvenient time slots, I continue to watch because the shit is crack. Thoughs so far:
- I actually think Craig/Ashely is boring as hell, and I looooooove the ho-child that is Manny (
evilprettykitty, I hope you don't mind I'm stealing your term;). All she has to do is bat her little eyes and Craig comes running. Though, homegirl needs a reality check. No one respects the school slut and no girl should have to work that hard for a guy's attention. Especially since JT is right there for the picking (why he is having wetdreams about Liberty is obviously an afterthought, because hello!, JT and Manny are so eager to be popular and so freakin awkward and adorable that they are obviously MFE0).
I am an unapologetic 'Eminem on the outside, big baby on the inside' Sean/ 'snobby prude' Emma shipper. I just think they are perfectly opposite and perfectly complementary, and I love their innocent school yard makeout sessions. Hopefully Emma will get that stick out of her ass and Sean will stop the thug act and they will get back together.
Spinner is funny as hell, but he needs a story line other than homophobic. I'm interested in seeing how he and Paige progress.
Dear Lord. Do you seeeeee the insanity???? I'm talking about a cable, Canadien teen show whose target audience is 12-16. Maybe 17, but 18 is definitely the cutoff. I can't help it though. The shit is crack!
Moving onto Rich Girls. I only have one thing to say:
Aly, for the love of God, please stop talking! Her nuerotic, needy, know-it-all, stupid ass will be the death of me.
*ahem*
Yeah. It's an addiction.
