I had a great day too. I had to work from 8am to 4pm -- and then I bought my dad stuff for Father's Day [Hot Tameles, a flag t-shirt, F1 magazine].
Jon picked me up to go to Liz's graduation party. It was ok... I talked to Laura's friend, Allie. She made me miss being a freshman. I watched as everyone played football in the street. Times like those make me wish I was athletic enough to participate. But the conversation sufficed. During the whole time there, didn't talk to Liz at all. She was busy talking to everyone there. It made me realize that, no matter how much she is my best friend, she is everyone's best friend. It's a hard concept to explain. Jon gets it though. She left to go see Dodgeball with everyone there; Jon and I went back to his house. Fun times...
We went to his house, and his whole family is playing this gambling game. So, the next round, Jon and I join in. And I won! I won $33 bucks! But I gave $3 to Jon and I lost another $3 in the next game. But it was fun! I love Jon's family -- they're so amazing! I haven't laughed so hard in such a long time. I guess Jon's the one of the only people that's ever seen me really belly-laugh lately; I've noticed that I always feel so carefree and youthful when I'm around him. Jon is good for my spirit... :)
And after all of this, Jon drove me home. And here I am now. I have to open again tomorrow and then I'm spending the rest of the day at home. Unless, I go see Matty. I have to drop off his cheque and pick up the card his parents intended to give me after graduation. I think I'm going to do that. I like see friends. It makes me happy!
