Started re-reading the Harry Potter series today. I have decided I should invest in some used paperback versions of the books so I can scribble & make notes in them as I only have my hardback American first editions that I don't want to write in. I always wondered when Harry was writing what Snape was saying at the beginning of the first Potions class why Harry didn't show Snape what he was writing. Harry was writing down what Snape was saying about potions, he was paying attention to everything Snape was saying. But of course as we later discover, Snape never "saw" Harry, Snape only saw James.

Just finished rereading book 7, had forgetten so much after reading it a couple of years ago. Actually learned much more this time around so I'm glad I read it again.
