Yuletide Greetings & Christmas Cheer for all!
I hope everyone had a great Christmas and Santa brought you lots of gifts! \^o^/
Yesterday, on xmas eve, Johnny & I lounged around a little, getting some good quality "us time" then made chocolate chip cookies & deviled eggs together to take to his family' get together.
We also called my family & were on speaker with them while we opened the presents they sent us. I told my mom to go easy on us this year because we didn't have a lot of money ourselves & couldn't send them much...but telling my mom to do that is like telling the wind not to blow or the river not to flow. >_>;
So from my family I got:
-- a set of Pirate playing cards which has pictures of famous historical pirates
-- a pirate mug to match my pirate shirt
-- an ice cube tray with pirate skull & crossbones
-- a figure of Jack Skellington as a pirate captain (are we seeing a theme here? XD)
-- Mama Mia on DVD
-- 3 new Hallmark Christmas ornaments (Mickey Mouse as a Nutcracker, windup Disney's Beauty & the Beast that plays the theme song, & a Sugar Plum Fairy that plays parts of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite)
-- a $100 credit gift card. O_________O
-- tons of little goodies, candies & tiny knickknack things
Not to mention the stuff Johnny got & she even sent Berlioz a whole stocking full of kitty goodies. Then she tells me more is coming because Think Geek sent some wrong items & they're sending the correct things once they get them!
Then this morning we got up to open presents with Johnny's dad. From JBones I got:
-- a scarf, glove & hat set to match my coat
-- Green Tea body wash
-- Shea butter body lotion
-- pink nail polish (a little too pink, but it'll be cute to wear in the spring)
-- set of 4 body spritzes
-- $30 in cash
After going back to bed for a couple hours we went over to Johnny's uncle Rod's house where we gorged on ham, cheesy potatoes, baked beans, deviled eggs & the tons of goodies we had set out to eat like pie, cookies, caramels, orange slices, a veggie tray & fudge. Full Stephanie is full.
We did a Secret Santa for the rest of Johnny's family & I had drawn Brooke, who fortunately loves Victoria's Secret. I gave her some Love Spell lotion & a PINK make-up bag which I had won from work & gave her a $25 gift card to the store. Johnny's aunt Jane had picked me & she gave me a $25 gift card to Chili's restaurant & a bag full of candy. I think I'll use the gift card to take Johnny out on his 30th birthday next Sunday on January 4th. :3 Johnny's grandma also gave us a present for Berlioz.
Then we came home, I called my mom & talked to her for a couple hours, took a nap with Johnny & at tacos for dinner. ^_^
