Get in Line

When I'm done with whatever edits my hopefully-future agent wants me to make on Pretty Girls Make Graves, and when I'm done writing my Sparks trilogy, I am going to write this:

When you’re a muse who isn’t permitted to inspire, life can feel extremely meaningless-especially for a restless muse like Melody. After having her license revoked for a hundred years, Melody is finally released from house arrest and put on probation.

When her inspiration officer assigns her to help a pair of brothers, Melody thinks the case will be a piece of cake. But when both brothers begin to have feelings for Melody, trouble begins-muses are forbidden to let anyone fall in love with them. And when Melody starts to reciprocate feelings for one of the love-lorn brothers, she must decide: quit the case and spend the next hundred years back on house arrest, or give in to her feelings and become mortal.

------------------
At the moment this story is only alive in my head, but Melody is a pesky little muse and keeps bugging me to write her. Let’s see how long she’ll be patient.

Too bad I can't write faster.
