Toe in
So, a few weeks ago, a literary agent started following me on Twitter. She doesn't rep my genre, but still, she's well known in the publishing circles and knows the lit agents that DO rep my genre. So I'm always careful what I post.
This morning I checked my email and found out that Penguin USA - as in the publishing firm - has started to follow me on Twitter. While that may sound really really awesome, they do tend to follow everyone who is following them, so that may not be such a big deal.
But I see it as a sign. Maybe I'm slowly getting my toe in the door by having my name floating around cyberspace.
Yes, it's my unintentional diabolical plan!
