Hello hello from London!
It's been a busy last few days, with my 40-hour day of traveling and then trying to get settled in. There are a million international students, but I am lucky not to live with just Americans. So far, only 2 of the other 6 people in my flat are from the US (and none of them are Yankees fans, thank GOD).
We were all shocked at orientation to find out that classes don't start on Monday, as we had been told, but actually begin the following week (just before my birthday!). Until then, we're supposed to check them out and see what we want to take. Strange brits...
Today has been full of walking, as Miriam and Cody and I went to Portobello Road Market this morning and to the Tate Modern this afternoon, all on 5 hours of sleep. I'm going to call it an early night, but I promise to post more about my situation and my address tomorrow, so don't fret! More info is coming!
