Legs loosely hang up high the Tree of Ash
Remembering breezes I have lost to time.
The countless winters dying in a flash.
Forgetting seasons that were never mine
The sheet of snow from winters closet falls
To rob the land and kill the growing seeds.
The spring will wet the thick and gorgeous shawls
And drown the land as said in ancient creeds.
The summers heat will pierce the soothing sky,
Corroding growth of bright sunflower fields
Preceding Autumns age for leaves to die.
A gruesome wave of death that nothing shields.
But sharing torment brings epiphany.
"Together,life is worth the suffering".
