Im bored. waiting for work.....
Night Drive
Everything is dark yet visible to the eye.
Sitting comfortably, blinding lights zoom past by amidst the charcoal sea
as Falling Stars from the sky in a flashing stroke that seems to grow.
And though i feel as in a cage, i cant escape the sights and sounds-all around me. the roaring booming, the reckoning groan, the popping struggle and the grumbling moan of heat and struggle to make it home. Such barrages from left and right, like Tempest in the darkest of nights.
And though the overwhelming screeches make it hard to stay afloat, that IS the silence amongst the ruin of the deafening blows.
And though the sun has gone to bed and darkness is so wide awake,
darkness overwhelms the night and rides the storm all through the plight.
Sailing swiftly, faster than the breeze;
soft and quiet yet apparent to the eye as rain cloud in the sky.
What hope is left to those whom sail whom against such raging storms and brutal blows?
To what to do riders fair when in the darkness there is no flair
of light, no glisten of joy?
They turn to the skies; the heavens above. To never forget that there is always love.
When jealousy and anger strikes down from the furious clouds, you sail through the angry blows and look forward in hopes to find the good that was and the joy you've had
for nothing can take away from you what was and hasn't begun.
And i sail the lonely shores home, I look to the sky and the Angels watching me by,
glistening in the cosmos above with loving eyes and embracing arms.
And in the shrouds of all the chimes of happy times
and in the harmony of good company, there shines above the Man in the Moon glowing above the tired world.
Always smiling and never fading, slowly moving above us all watching above all those that are small. Keeping me company until the time that i can see my glowing Sun fly above once again. Fly back my hopeful Dove.
