Hello.
I'm at work, of course, and I'm in one of those moods where I like to look at pretty things and think about how I feel about them.
First, I'd like to share the Regal Moth, a fellow I saw in another lj community. He tugged at my heartstrings and I feel a real fondness for him;

If I had antennae, I'd want antennae like that.

Moving right along, I remember seeing one like this on my apartment's welcome mat when I lived in Montevallo. I'm PRETTY sure it was this one...and I stood staring at it for the longest time. Meet the Rosy Maple Moth:

One more moth...
Doesn't this one look like it's made of fine silk material? Like, something your grandmother wore when she wanted to look fancy? This is Primrose Cochylis Moth Cochylis oenotherana (apparently, they aren't quite every-day enough for anyone to have come up with a shorter, snappier name.)

Ahem.
Tomorrow (Monday), I'm going to talk to Kele about a tattoo.
I do believe I'm getting a peacock feather on my foot.
Here is some of the inspiration I'd like to draw from:

Now, here's the dealio. I'm basically going to leave the creative design up to Kele and just present him with all these elements. He knows I don't want the feather to be outlined, that I want it to just be the colors gradually fading into one another. He said he wanted it to wrap around my ankle like a question mark, landing on my foot.

And then part of me wants to get a chest tattoo. Not a full on chest piece, but a palm/hand sized piece on the left or right side. I trust his artistic talent and I like letting him run with an idea...he's really amazing and his tastes are pretty much a developed version of mine. We're just talking it all out tomorrow, so we'll see where things go. Thoughts on the matter are welcome, bring em on.

EDIT: I've pretty much decided that I'm getting the Regal Moth's antennae tattooed on my clavicles. I'll choose an orange-y red color. The peacock feather may happen on another day in the future. But for now, I'm feeling the Regal Moth's fern-like antennae. Yeah?

I've been eating a lot of M&M's and drinking a lot of Coca-Cola Classic. What's that all about?

Brian and I watched The Might Boosh last night...with commentary. Love that show.

In other news, morning lovin'---where it's at.
