Writer's Block: In The Money
If you won $100 this afternoon, what would you do with it?
If I were to win $100 this afternoon, I know for a fact that there would be some internal conflict. I would want to pamper myself, and go to the bookstore. But the practical side of my brain would want to either save the money or pay bills. I'm pretty sure that the practical side would win. JUST for the simple fact that I am trying to get finances straight and I am starting my savings plan for Florida.
Yea...practicality would most definitely win. Pampering can always happen later.
But, but ,but...you only live once and you haven't been pampered in a while.
Shit...here it goes again. Back and forth, back and forth. Now I really don't know what I would do.
On one hand, I haven't been pampered lately--no pedicure or manicure. No clothes shopping (oh there's an idea--clothes shopping for work).
But on the other hand, practicality is right. I need to get on the right track with money and saving for Florida.
DAMN...now I really don't know who would win. Practicality or work clothes.
