I read this book YEARS ago, and when I learned it was being made into a tv show, I was THRILLED!!! Then the long wait for an airdate began.
It's FINALLY here!!!!
Starz has the first episode on demand, so of course I'm watching it. And it has EXCEEDED my expectations! This is beyond brilliant! There aren't enough superlatives to describe how much I am LOVING it.
And the one scene that everyone wondered how in the hell it would be done onscreen -- was amazing...
I knew Ian McShane would be perfect as Wednesday, I'm very impressed with Ricky Whittle, too.
I do think people who haven't read the book will be a little confused. But if they read all the articles on what *exactly* the show is about, they'll catch on after another episode or two. So stick with it!
Okay, going back to watching now. Guh, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this!!!
