It hasn't been that long, but the "curses" lately have been pretty horrible. Are they usually that bad? Like that one that happened about a week ago...
...I've been wondering, since then, how that boy we met is doing now. I think... his name was Shing? Haha, he was in pretty bad shape! [ He pauses and reaches up to touch his face, just now noticing how much he's smiling. ]
