Subject says it all. I'm not usually a fan of beards but this man could wear a trash bag on his face and I'd love it. Damn.

Doctor Who Box Set Preview Clip

Short preview clip from David's vid diaries that's to be included with the DVD Specials boxset. This made me CRY. TWICE. Barely over a minute long and it made me weep. Watch it and you'll see why. No spoilers. *sniffs*

Firstly, this new clip of Wilf and the Doctor in the TARDIS:

Warning: Crackalious speculation ahead. Just saying.

Sooooo, the Doctor mentions that he has to stay relative to the Master within the Causal Nexus. And in Turn Left Rose mentioned that one wrong word can change an entire Causal Nexus. Causal Nexus basically being the link between cause and effect, a chain of related events. So, what if he did change the Causal Nexus, either accidentally or on purpose with his actions in WoM. What if that change is what allows the Master and the mysterious Time Lord-ish figure that Timothy Dalton is playing to return. Now here's the crazy bit, what if all along Ten's been in his own sort of alternate bubble like Donna was in Turn Left? Yeah, it's kind of far-fetched and I don't really think it's what's going to happen but it's crazy enough to be something RTD might cook up. While the idea does intrigue me, I really don't want all of Ten's adventures turn out to be some sort of twisted Dallas-like thing. Though I've thought from the beginning that the Master & Timothy Time Lord Dalton aren't actually real but some sort of figment of events taking place in the Doctor's brain. Whatever is happening, I know that I absolutely trust RTD to do Ten and this finale the justice it deserves.

Then another thing I've been pondering is maybe whatever changed isn't something recent but something from long ago. I'm thinking back to TPotW when Bad Wolf!Rose destroys the Dalek fleet and announces that the Time War ends. I could see RTD bring his era full-circle and going back to series 1 with it, I mean, he's a master planner when it comes to this sort of thing. And then there's all this talk about the Time Lord(s) returning... maybe they do. Maybe they've always been around but were hidden or locked away somehow. Until now. If the Time Lords/Gallifrey did return for series 5, it'd introduce an entire new element to the new series with tons of possibles for SM to explore.

They've done so well with keeping this under wraps. As much as I hunger for spoilers and to know what's going on, I'm going to try (and I stress try because it's extremely difficult for me lol) to be very careful with spoilers since it's so near. I can't help but speculate though, especially crazy speculation because I'm expecting it to be something completely insane and I do luvva da insane! Mwahahaa.
