About time...

Jan 05, 2007 00:22

Finally I'm starting to feel better. For the past five days I've did little else than drag myself to work and simply exist. I'm not completely over it yet either, I've still got the damn cough (the cough is the absolute worst ever) and a bit of a head cold but I am slowly progressing towards wellness again. It seems everyone has had or still has ( Read more... )

Wrapped to hear you're feeling better :D Hope total wellness is only a day or so away for you :)

You know what my bff said re: the O.C.? 'YOU ARE THE KISS OF DEATH' - is what. Apparently, it's my fault it's canceled, so sorry about that ;p (clearly, she thinks it's an extension of my faves being killed). I guess I should really *try* to like Veronica Mars then ;p hehehehehe

I hope the SG-1 sales extend this side of the pond! lol! :D Yay for you re: Trek though. Which one did u get? TOS, TNG, DS9? (I'm not thinking VOY b/c you didn't seem too keen when last we spoke of it lol!)

Thanks!! :)

ROFL! @ kiss of death! Well I'll admit it is a rather timely coincidence but look at all the other shows that you like that are still around (as far as we know ;P) hehe and hey I like Veronica Mars :P but I'll make sure to pass it on to you when a show happens by that I don't like lol j/k ;P

I hope you guys have an awesome DVD sale like we just had, it's almost an offer that just can't be passed up! As for Trek, I bought season 5 & 6 of DS9, they have finally come down to a more reasonable price. Oh and Wal-Mart now has season 7 (only 7 tho) of TNG for $54! It's next on my list :D

Yeah, I think BSG is safe. I think there are so many others that like it, it sort of negates my negative effect...Or something :P

I'm disliking LOST now, so that should be fairly safe too lol! *Misses Ana-Lucia*

But yeah, any shows you dislike, just mention and I'll try to like 'em for you ;D

I was lucky with DS9. For some odd reason, all seasons were quite cheap here, so we got all 7 seasons in over a course of six or eight months, I think. TNG we had to wait, but we have them all now too. Plus 3 seasons of TOS.

For some odd reason, VOY is still wicked, wicked, wicked expensive. So we only have 1st season - which is a dead rage x_x

I did get the complete box set of B5 for Christmas though! :D Actually, how come you don't have a little thumbnail....thingy, for B5? :O Did you not like it? *WouldBeShocked*

It would take a lot of that curse to bring down BSG right now I think ;P though Lost on the other hand... I'm still enjoying it but I really don't see it lasting more then another year or two if they are lucky. hehe

Actually I never watched Babylon 5, I've maybe seen one episode of it and couldn't even tell you anything about it lol. Though the thought to add the first season to my NetFlix Queue has crossed my mind before :P

It's brilliant. I don't think you'd be sorry watching it via your Netflix :P

I concur re: LOST. I think it's become rubbish and it bores me x_x

Well I have general knowledge of what it's about (always seemed very ds9-y though) but I just might have to look into it :D

It did feel very DS9y, I admit. But, to be honest, during S2 DS9, I thought B5 was more intriguing and more gritty :x *hangs head in shame*

You know how Trek sometimes can seem a little sanitized and a little too neat? B5 didn't really have that, so I enjoyed it more. Of course, by S3 DS9 became more intriguing also - and I was way more into it - but I still very much loved B5 :)
