Why This Must Be Read: In this AU Rodney loses his memory. John is the POV character in this story, and together with him the reader gets to rediscover Rodney, the way he changes and all the ways he stays the same. Unidentified is wonderfully complex and touching, not only when it comes to Rodney but also his relationships with John, Teyla, Ronon and Carson. I cannot recommend this story highly enough.
