Oh, do I know the feeling! When I got the Sam category, I had to cross twelve recs off my list because they were already in the memories.
I've been slowly and gradually sneaking them into other categories, though. ;)

And just because I've recced it here in the Jack O'Neill category doesn't mean you can't rec it elsewhere! One fic I recced - in Episode Related, I think - got recced again in a different category two days later. So don't cross this one off your list, okay?
