Why this must be read: This story features a very AU version of life (or death) for our friends - here there is no Stargate program, and none of the members of SG-1 has met prior to the story. Fate conspires to bring many of them together, though, when the Tok'ra decides to go after Seth, even without having met the Tau'ri. I think this is a wonderful story - it has Tok'ra learning about Earth and the Tau'ri, and it has a look at the alternate lives of Sam, Jack, and Daniel. For someone who loves AU and alternate history this is a great story!
