Jack/Daniel Fic - Wings
Hi, I'm looking for a Jack/Daniel fic I read a few years ago.
Summary of what I remember:
*SG Command is setting up a secondary site offworld
*Jack starts growing feathers, then wings
*There is a race of humanoid people with wings on the planet, they have tech that makes them bird-people
They never bowed to the Goa'uld because they were 'wingless gods'
*SGC is concerned about the range of the device and the safety of theoff world site
*There are regular humans as well, but there is bigotry from the bird people because they don't have wings. There was a sickness/plague that the bird people were immune to?
*Daniel is crippled from an injury pre-fic and uses a cane
*Jack and Daniel are mates, or referred to as mates by the bird people
*Relationship develops over the course of the fic
*Jack built a nest out of mattresses @ the top of an inaccessible tower.
*Daniel is also half bird by the end of it.
*Some tension between Jack and Daniel about this, leading to a bird person asking why he 'wouldn't want his ate to fly' or smth like that.
So yeah, any ideas anyone?
