Summary: Can dreams become reality?
“Wish Fulfillment” (1/1)

“Ready for round two?” Vala asked, as she pushed Daniel
back down onto the bed. His naked body was glistening with sweat
and he wasn’t sure he should be doing this, but it was too late now.
Vala, also naked, straddled his body. She had a smug smile
on her face as she reached up and pinned his arms above his
head. Letting go a second or so later, as if she had done something
wrong, she started moving her lips down his chest working swiftly
down to his cock. Vala bent her head down to take him into her
mouth -
Daniel woke up. He was alone in bed. His heart was racing
and he had a huge hard-on tenting his boxers.
It was morning. Time to get up. Now he’d have to wait until
tonight for another one of those dreams.
He wouldn’t admit it to anyone else, but he was counting
down the hours until the next dream of Vala fucking him.

Daniel immersed himself in work. That was the only way to
stop the intrusive thoughts of the dreams. He could barely
look Vala in the eye anymore. Luckily, she hadn’t been bothering
him lately. That pleased him and scared him at the same time.
Was she up to something?
That seer couldn’t have been right. Why was he even giving him
another thought?
Two days ago, they had returned from a routine mission. He and
Vala had dinner with some of the locals, including a seer named
Gavin. They had tea after dinner. A tea that Gavin said would bring
out their greatest desires in the form of vivid dreams. He wasn’t
kidding either when he’d said vivid.
He drank the Kool-Aid. Daniel smiled to himself at the joke. A
joke that would be wasted on Vala.
Vala. Was she having these dreams as well? He couldn’t ask her
because if she wasn’t then he’d have to explain. He couldn’t do that.
That was just asking for tons of innuendoes. Vala would have a
field day with that.
Daniel took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes. He needed to work
on this translation. Just push thoughts of Vala aside, he told himself.
It worked for about ten minutes until he thought about those
thong panties she’d had on in one of the dreams and how quickly
he’d gotten her out of them. He remembered her soft moans as
he’d used his fingers and tongue to bring her to an orgasm.
Stop. Focus. He closed his eyes, but that just brought the dreams
back in vivid clarity.
“Daniel?” Vala said. “What are you doing?”
He opened his eyes to see her standing in front of him. “Nothing.
Why? What does it look like I’m doing?” He looked down at his
papers, hoping his face hadn’t turned red.
“Someone’s jumpy this morning,” she said. “What’s wrong, darling?”
“Nothing,” he reiterated. “I’m working. What do you want?”
She walked over to the table and stood next to him. “Nothing,”
she said. “Just trying to be friendly.”
“Well, don’t.” He tried not to notice the fact that her arm was
touching his. “I’m not in the mood.”
“Well, it’s looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of
the bed.”
Out of all the words in the English language, she had to say
bed. “Vala, I’m very busy.”
Vala peered over his shoulder and looked at what he was doing.
“Fine. It looks boring anyway.” She walked around to the other side
of the table. “I just thought you might want to join me for lunch
today. We could catch up.”
Daniel looked up from his paperwork. “Catch up? We see each other
every day.”
“I know,” she replied, twirling the end of her ponytail around her
finger. “Just thought you might want to talk.”
“No, I want to work,” he told her.
“Oh, okay,” she replied. “Then I guess you don’t want to talk
about the dreams you’ve been having.” Vala walked toward the
door.
Shit. She was having them, too. He thought denial would be
a good idea now. “What dreams?”
Vala stopped at the threshold of the doorway and looked at him.
“C’mon, Daniel. Those sex dreams you’ve been having about me,”
she replied. “I don’t know about yours, but mine are pretty intense.
Like the one where you do that thing with your mouth and -“
“Shhh. . . Keep your voice down,” he said. “I have no idea what
you’re talking about.” Daniel decided to fully embrace denial.
Vala smiled smugly. “Okay.” She walked back over to the table
and leaned in closer to him this time. “Which one would you like to
hear about? The one with the handcuffs and blindfold or the one
where you take me from behind and -“
“Okay, so I had a couple of dreams about you,” he admitted.
“That guy must have put something in our drinks.”
“No, I think he was right,” she said. “It brought out our greatest
desires. Although, I didn’t need a tea to tell me that you wanted
to get into my pants.”
“I’m not discussing this, Vala,” he said.
She sighed. “Have it your way, but I’m sure the dreams will
continue until we talk about them.”
“You don’t know that,” he said.
“Well, you know where to find me when you’re ready to discuss
this like adults,” she told him. “Until then I’ll just look forward
to some more good dreams. Really good dreams.” She closed the
book that Daniel was looking at just to annoy him. “You make me
come every time,” she added in a softer voice.

Vala was right. Two days later and the dreams hadn’t gone
away. In fact, they became more intense. Maybe they did need to
talk. However, an honest conversation with Vala about his feelings
for her wasn’t high on Daniel’s to-do list.
She used every opportunity to work a sexual innuendo into
their daily conversations. If it was just the two of them, he
could deal with it, but she started saying things around the
team including the mission they went on yesterday. Mitchell
and Teal’c were giving him strange looks. He didn’t want to
explain what Vala was talking about to them. They probably
thought he was already sleeping with her.
That thought crossed Daniel’s mind more than once over the
past few days. Would it be just like the dream? Better? Worse?
He didn’t see how it could get any better.
Now he stood outside Vala’s quarters, his hand poised to knock
on the door. He decided to forgo the knock. “Vala, it’s me. Open up
if you’re there.”
Not a minute later, she opened the door wearing her robe.
“Hello, darling,” she greeted. “I had a feeling it was you. I
was just getting ready for bed and looking forward to another
night of -“
“I know what you were looking forward to.” He brushed past
her and stepped inside her quarters. “We need to talk.”
Vala shut the door. “I can think of a few other things I’d like to
do with you, but I guess we can start with talking.”
Daniel walked over to the bed. No, perhaps that wasn’t a good
idea. He stepped away from it and crossed his arms over his chest.
“These dreams aren’t going away, are they?”
“No,” she said. “Isn’t it wonderful?”
“No, it’s not,” he replied.
“Daniel,” she said, coming closer to him. “Don’t tell me you
don’t like them? Because in my dreams, you’re having a pretty
good time. Of course, I’ve haven’t had any complaints in the past.”
“Would you just shut up for a second, okay,” he told her. “This
is just one big joke to you, isn’t it?”
“Joke? You don’t see me laughing, do you?” she said.
“That guy manipulated us,” he explained. “He made us have
these dreams and -“
Vala stepped closer to him, her body almost touching his. “No,
Daniel. He said it brought out one’s greatest desires. That obviously
means we both have feelings for each other and you’re afraid to admit
it,” she pointed out. “Well, I’m not. I care about you and I want to
take the next step in our relationship. So, if you don’t want to, you
can just leave.” She flopped down on the bed and turned away from him.
Daniel looked down at her. “I . . . I have thought about it. About
us. Even before we drank the tea. But we work together and -“
Vala turned to him. “So, we work together,” she said. “I spoke
with Gavin after dinner and he told me I had already met the man
I was supposed to be with. He also said I met him on a ship when
I was a different woman.” She got up and tightened the sash of
her robe. “I’m tired and I’d like to go to bed. So, if you don’t
mind.” She walked to the door and started to open it.
Daniel rushed over and shut the door with one hand. It all
happened so quickly and she was left staring at the closed door
with Daniel standing behind her.
He closed the distance between them and slid one arm around
her waist. “I do want you,” he said against her ear. “I’m just
thinking about all the things that could go wrong and how I
could get hurt -“
Vala turned around. “I wouldn’t hurt you.”
“Not intentionally, no, but I have to think about -“
“That’s your problem, darling,” she said. “You think too
much. You need to just feel.” She took his hand into hers. “I heard
that dreams are wishes unfulfilled. I believe that. And I want to
be fulfilled.”
Daniel let go of her hand and Vala had a worried look on her
face. It disappeared after he untied the sash of her robe. She had
a black lacy nightgown on underneath it. “I just have one question.
Do you think it’ll be as good as it is in our dreams?”
Vala smiled. “Let’s find out.” She leaned in and kissed him.
