Dictator...sure why not? LOL. He has the leadership skills, the military skill, just remove the inhibitions and the qualms...watch out.
I've always thought of Jack as being successful because he knows how to make the most out of his opportunities. He is a genius at making something out of nothing...in a situation...not like a Macgyver.
Alia gave him the opportunity and the means (connections and finances) to accomplish his new status in life. So he used her...and the societal values against women..."for" women. Yeah sure.
I tried to paint him as a bitter man on the way out...disillusioned, hating everyone, blaming everyone else, not interested or involved in his surroundings...and poof...there's Jack acting selfish..."if you are going to steal somthing, then steal something big" (a whole planet... some colony worlds to boot!)
