Challenge: All You Women Independent

Okay, so since there are at least a few interested in a challenge for Women's Day/Women's History Month, I thought we could actually try it since I'm curious to if people can come up with prompts and stories fitting the theme. Ah, this is a neat idea - sorry I missed the poll. I'm hopefully going to have time to actually _write in March, so I will try and put up some prompts before the end of the week.

(I'm holiday, yet I'm working. How is this fair?)

Oh, hey, how about: The first woman who slapped Rodney for paying more attention to her body than her equations... (because, I love him, but, seriously...)

The picture in this 'Boing Boing' post.

This poster (The smallar tagline says "There are no female Marines. Only Marines".

And a more generally prompt, just to say that I always like reading stories that feature character's mothers...
