Actually, what I said was that

"I voted X the worst because I there's no way A would pair up with B" was NOT an acceptable reason.

The second sentence is a valid reason but you have to tell WHY, not just say that.

Were these stories proofread before being entered into the contest? There are a few that have an amazing number of typos, grammatical errors, etc. -- so much so that they are distracting to read.
