Everyone loves cake ...

It's that time of year when the families start staking their claim in you, and trying to secure you for hoiday dates before everyone else can. I can't wait to have kids, so I can just say "you can get your asses over HERE if you want to see us." I know most people wouldn't want family to come over, but after years of feeling like a pingpong ball and democraticly dividing the hours of a certain day between mom and dad, I would like very much to stay in one place and let them do all the work.

Sean wrote me back, very sad and apologetic. I'm weird like that, once I get my feeling out of my head and convey them, they kind of dissapate. So I wrote him too, and I think we're cool.

Bethany (for those of you who don't know, she's the one having the "maybe baby") had her baby shower this weekend. I went after my class, I had bought a really cute little bathrobe and blanket, and then some socks with little rattles on them, so when the baby shakes his feet it rattles, and some shirts. I was glad to see how much clothes he got, since Wes and Bethany were planning on buying little onesies that say "show me your hooters" and stuff like that. Classy.

Last week in my art class we had a "competition", basicly we chose one assignment and the rest of the class voted. We had four categories: Best in Show (all around best peice), Best use of Color, Best Workmanship, and Favorite Picture (from a subjective PoV) ... anyway, we weren't supposed to vote for one picture twice ... but guess what? I won TWO of them!!! Yay, not one, but TWO! They voted me Best in Show, and Best Workmanship. I was very happy, since I didn't even vote for myself. We got to choose a little prize, so I picked some palette knives and a signed Art card that my teacher had made. I'm still excited about that. :)

We have the Japanese Chiro's at work again. I taught them Hot Stone thereapy yesterday, which is usually cool, but they hadn't had the basic massage class yet, so it was really confusing. Angela was my TA, and it was a pretty good time.

That's everything fun and exciting ... I have my annual cough going strong ... woohoo.

Peace out,
Celle
