My aunt asked me today what I wanted for my birthday. And for the life of me I couldn't come up with how to answer her. I felt that I had to pick an appropriate gift suggestion that would fit her image of me... I couldn't tell her that I wanted to move out now instead of in Jan. or maybe I could... and ask her to pay my rent. OR better yet, I could ask her to make Beth stick to our plan. I'm sure that in between her Golf Club memberships and designer only wardrobe she could find a number for at least ONE Mafia.
When I told her I really didn't know, she told me to "get back to her as soon as possible so she can go and have a good shop."
It amazes me how some people can take advantage of situations like this. I met a sister and brother combo today, (well I actually didn't meet them, I just sat beside the brother and in front of the sister..I know this how? read on..)
The Bus to school was really really jammed today. and there was these two people who got on the bus at unionville. as I said before, the bus was packed. so there were no two open seats together. So this brother sat beside me and the sister behind. I know this how? they were talking (very loudly) about why he didn't move the benz because dad would need his car later. And the thing that was alittle annoying is that they didn't just say "car" they had to say "the beamer" or "the benz". Yes. Because you have a Benz AND a Beamer means that I must be impressed/intimidated by the make of your car. and then they continued to talk on their cell phones the rest of the trip (27 min I tell ya). I herd how she asked her mother for a shopping spree at Holts for her birthday. and she asked for a laptop from her father because, get this, SHE DIDN'T LIKE THE COLOUR OF THE ONE SHE HAD NOW. apparently Blue is no longer "fashionable" Now I admit, I am completely judging these two people on what I was presented with today. But I also think that it is fair to point out that the whole trip they talked about material things, and what they wanted. and the fact that the mom apparently told the daughter to get a job, and that offended/caused a fight.
but before I end this little informing and fascinating story about my annoyance, I'll leave you with a snippet of their conversation. (at this point they are talking on their cell phones to each other, and I can hear the whole conversation because as I said before the brother is beside me and the sister is in the seat RIGHT BEHIND US)
Brother: Stop talking so loud
Sister: I'm not talking loud, your just stupid.
Brother: I have to hold the phone away from my ear, because your talking so loud
Sister: Fine. but I don't see a problem
ok. may I for a second point out a small but yet important point?
The reason why he thought she was talking so loud, was because, maybe the fact that her could hear her crystal clear WITHOUT the cell phone? and by using the cell, made the sound appear to be 5 times louder? does this not make sense people?
