Happy. Day.
Lalaalaaaa.....at all-state. Super! Its a total blast.
Thursday:
-woke up very very early (like 5) to be at school at 6
-rooming with Christine and Paulette. YAY!!!!!
-our director is Captian Steffey from the Air Force Base in Georgia. Like all band directors from honor bands/all-states, he's really kinda quirky. but he knows what hes doing which is oh so grand!
-we ate at the Crab Shack for dinner last night and Leo and Brian Haley got a HUMONGOUS seafood platter. It was so funny watch Leo hold the seafood utensils and trying to eat the seafood. "Tee..hee...hee."
-Melanie and Paulette were "scatting"...
-there were loose eyeballs on the seafood platter and it was kinda gross. and if you know seafood, you know that things like crawfish come WHOLE and complete with all body parts. nasty.
Friday:
-practice
-beignets for breakfast, yummmm...
-we went to the traditional band dinner at Carey Hilliards for dinner. Unfortunately, Mr. Watkins is the only one who likes it! Bleg...talk about frozen food... But yeah. And then his plane (yeah, he took a PLANE to savannah!) was late so he didnt even eat there. super.
-now i'm sitting in the business center that consists of A computer and a haunted scanner with paulett we are watching the fascinating scanner and how it gives you "presents" aka blank paper. we need sleep but its all good.
