OK, Here Is The Story
Ok, well now that I have time, I will tell you my cute Laney story.
The other day, all of Laney's new bedroom furniture came and so did her new comforter, sheets, shams, etc. I spent SO much money redoing her room it is ridiculous. The comforter, sheets, and stuff cost $300.00 alone from JCPenney!!!
I put it all up and Laney said "I love it Mommy it's so pretty". Then she told me she didn't want me to go to work anymore. I told her I had to go to work to make money and pay bills. I also had to work so she could get all the nice things that she had in her bedroom. Later on, I was in the bathroom putting my make-up on, when she walked in and asked, "Mommy are you going to work because you need money to pay bills?" I told her I was and then she opened up her little hand and said "Here Mommy" presenting a quarter to me. I almost cried!! How sweet is that?
I said, "thank you Laney, but you keep it honey....put it in your piggy bank".
She said, "No mommy take it--you need it"
That just made my day. How incredibly sweet. She gets the idea that money is needed to pay for stuff, but she doesn't realize how much money it takes to pay stuff:)
I just figured I would share....it was to freaking cute.
