So I was totally on the news today. :D
My school ran an End Hunger Now drive and basically recruited a couple hundred volunteers to package rice-soy-veggie MREs to send off to assorted third-world countries. A news station was there, but I didn't pay much attention to it until I came back from Sarah's later and glanced at the TV to see my own face on the screen. Granted, I was in the background, looking distracted while pouring rice into various bags and rocking a highly sexy hairnet, but I was still on the news. *amused by this*
(What is more important than this, of course, is the fact that we sent meals of to 36,000 people, but do allow me this moment of self-indulgence. *grins*)
