So....inspired by a conversation with the Kallie-wan and an entry in Neil Gaiman's blog, which showed his massively unorganized deskspace, here's a meme.
Take three photos of the space in which you usually draw, read, write, or create things. Do not attempt to organize or clean the area before taking the pictures -- just photograph the space in its natural state. Explain what's in the pictures, then tag three others to do the same.
Yeah, that's my desk in the bonus room. It's only slightly dishevilled-looking, here, seeing as I just cleaned it two days ago, but the snowdrifts of books and paperwork have already started to accumulate again. And yes, that is a large box of Crayola crayons to the right. *laughs*
Mostly my bulletin board, which I made out of a blank canvas, some ribbon, and much hot glue. It's full of such highly important things as old postcards, random story references, 'lucky beads', and a personal ad from Count Dooku. My art mannequin is my friend. There is a small arsenal of music in the mini-shelves it's perched on, the majority of it being mixed CDs from my friends, some really bad techno, and, of course, U2. There is also an air plant, and a bromeliad, which should not be confused.
That blue notebook is where I write all of my fics before putting them on the computer. The mug is ancient, but I love it to death. I commandeered it from my dad and claimed it as my own. I drink a lot of tea when I'm working. Here's the bromeliad again, along with three random little clay people -- the Ninth Doctor, the Tenth Doctor, and younger Dooku. The clay dudes seem to have invaded my workspace -- it started out just being Dooku, as a joke with my friend, and then he brought along his buddies...there will probably be a Qui-Gon joining them in the near future. Bwahaha.
Let's see -- I tag charmisjess, fialleril, and aysquid, as well as anyone else who wants to play. :D
