When people get stoned.... and you get this feeling that something is wrong with the way they look... something's odd.... and then you see it... their eyes are red... you can only focus on one thing... the center of the eyes... the pupil... it the black dot on the white page... it's the white dot on the black page... you focus because you see clearness.... everything else is blur.
We see each other's eyes.... yes we see the faces... but we see the eyes... that's where we recognize spirit and identity... the eyes...
But when our eyes are red... bloodshot.... the color just fades into the surrounding, dark skin color... it's always darker than the whites of the eyes.... and you focus on the central point....
and you know something is wrong. Their eyes are red.... "They're probably stoned!"
