Things that suck:
Babysitting every day from 5am-2 and then on the weekend, all Saturday, overnight sunday! I love the little guy but HE DOESN'T SLEEP. But he's awesome. We watched movies and ate bad food all night and some time in the past week he crossed the line between toddler and real kid. It's hard to explain the difference but one day, the kid just DOES something and you're like "Wait a second, you aren't a mildly advanced monkey, you're a person, with opinions and thoughts" and Aiden did that and it's a little weird. It's sort of like an egg hatching. You got so used to the egg and now there's a creature there you've got to get used to all over again. A creature who says "Bless you!" when he sneezes and uses his flash lights to go searching for monsters in the basement (dude, HE SHOULD BE HIDING), who uses paper clips to fix his toy cars, and who's capable of understanding a series of events like "No, we CAN'T go to Walmart now, we need to go home first, and then the drug store, and THEN Walmart" so the tantrum stops and he's patient and quiet but don't you DARE try to go home again from the drug store, because he remembers.
I love babysitting. I love sleep, though.
Anyway, this weekend, the parents are out of town and they had a massive ribs and chicken dinner before they left, which I skipped out on since I'm a vegetarian, b ut they ALSO left me instructions to do the dishes they left, which are piled up to the ceiling, and that SUCKS, but whatever, I was totally about to start when my SISTER called, because the house she's renting is for sale, and they want to show it at noon, so now I have to go over there and clean it up for her (it's a DISASTER, ohmygod).
SOMEONE HAD BETTER START PAYING ME FOR THIS.
In other news, I got a hula dancer for my dashboard. Jealous?
