Guca baby! Guca!
So yesterday Milana and I spent up till 4am sitting in the park swinging on the children swings with some random guy who heard us whistling and singing. We spoke to him for three hours, he's a good guy and he said he's seen me before and everyone around the area knows me as the girl from africa! ^_^ Anywho, we went to bed, snuggled into bed and I woke up at 10am, by 11 Milana and I were out of the house and on our way to Guca! ;D
So anyway, I picked up 200Euros from my bank account - full of cash, energy and excitement we toodledd of to the bus station. When we were on the bus it occured to us that we didn't have anywhere to sleep - bah, little details! We'd sleep whereever the wind swept us away and we didn't bother about it muchly. Anywho, we get there and realize both us don't have batteries.
Our phones die. This means we can't get hold of Toca & Paja (my friends from Belgrade) and this means we can't get hold of the friends from Ravno (my uncles village =D). No matter, we buy two beers (nummmmyyy) and we go around walking, dancing, randomly being talked to by people. We were given free t-shirts and then deciding to go rest a while we go to the river bank and loaf for ten minutes.
We're just about to get up when a guy comes up to us and starts chatting. Finally, I manage to put on my cell long enough to read a message before it dies. Sinisa is in the center of Guca. Shweet. The guys say they'll escort us - why not? We chat, laugh and they bought us lots of free beer ^_^ We lost them while looking for Sinisa and them but no worries. Little details!
We're hyped, slightly tipsy and HAVING THE BLAST. Now imagine streets so packed people dance on street corners and have fun. This is what we did. We were dancing on a street corner when my cousin started spinning and all of her beer started hitting people around her (including me), some chick thought it was me - so she plopped half a litre of beer on my newly fanned hair :D little details!i threw the rest of my beer on her and we laughed it off.
We met about 20 people there, drank with them - sang with them, danced with them and when people passed we were dancing so crazily, people would stop and watch us (or join us) or ask us to come and have a drink with them. Anywho, we danced there for an hour - then we went to the main event (a concert). As we walked there, our friends were behind us but we lost them because my cousin and I were dancing as we walked. Wait, we were dancing to the main arena.
As we dancing through crowds so thick it was amazing we got passed, people would move aside and laugh at our antics because we were jumping, whistling on our whistles or playing on the plastic trumpets we bought. =D We also had beers in our hands so people would clink our beers with theirs. Some people asked us to take pictures with them (my cousin and I were wearing matching t-shirts some people were giving out) hehe, and I don’t wanna know how badly they came out =D
We got to the concert (after losing our friends but we cldnt care less we were so hyped), we pushed into the front row and people made a little circle around us because we were dancing so wildly. LMAO. Imagine this, people turned to look at us instead of the concert going on ^_^ HEHEHEHEH. Soooo mucccch fun! ;D We moved from section to section, dancing and meeting new people. I drank Rakija like it was water - I swear it had no TASTE what so ever.
We danced with loads of peopel and met people (though I can't remember) any of their names. After four non-stop hours of dancing, screaming, going WILDDDDD... we left and wondered where we'd go next. We were supposed to meet Toca and Paja at the beginning of the concert but because we had no battery, no phone - we couldn't get hold of them. We’re walking out of the main arena and guess who we see as DRUNK as a bat - Paja! I go and glomp him and he complains about how we were supposed to find them where he sent the message and when I explained we didn't have battery... and told him we didn't have a place to sleep he told me we were useless =P I then reminded him he did the same and he said we were still useless cause we were just following his lead. Hehehee!
Then he offered for us to sleep by him and Toca, which was cool so we said... YES. Which I didn’t want but my cousin was tired so off we went. LMAO. Oh, before this we were offered accommodation by four, five different sets of people but we weren’t stupid enough to go and stay with random strangers - fine, maybe we weren’t drunk enough. We got there and he lay down and we climbed into the tent with him. We sat their giggling for an hour because I wasn’t tired and kept the other two awake. Finally, when they both fell asleep I left the tent and went to the shops.
I found Guy. W00t. My friends Sinisa and Sasha had lost him and Guy was sitting in a nearby petrol station, I flirted with a guy to let me use his cell phone (in exchange for a kiss on the check =D ) and I called Sinisa and told him to come pick up Guy because Guy was :
1. Drunk as a homeless person
2. Dressed like a homeless person
3. Practically homeless …
4. Because he didn’t have money, a cell phone or any idea of where he was!
So after doing my good deed and waiting with Guy for someone to pick him up and to make sure he was OK, I walked back to the camp but was STILL not tired. Cellphone guy invited me to a party but I decided against it as it was on a faaar side of the town and didn’t feel up to walking that way. I got back to camp and went to sit with our neighbours. ;D Three guys who had a ten next to “ours” and I went and sat by their table and asked if I could chill with them till I was tired.
They said yes and ended up speaking with them till 6am. Went to bed for an hour (got woken up by the regular explosives) and chilled with neighbors Toca & Paja till 12 when we left for home.
All in all: fucking awesome night. Going back next year for ALL five days baby!
