There was one thing that working for the Admiral for the past bit had taught her, and that was her respect for the men and women who were officers aboard the ship. It didn't help that it made her a little self conscious on the fact that her own application the Academy had been turned down in the first place, and it wasn't like she could afford living in San Francisco anyway once she really thought about it, but it was something that had been eating at her for months. Carefully she tapped the stylus against the side of the PADD she was staring down at in the general mess hall staring at the completed application on the screen.
She could take distance courses, on the job sort of training, right there on the ship if anyone was willing to help her with them. Truth be told she hated to ask knowing that duties on the ship came before any sort of course work and if her Sergeant even knew she was even considering sending the thing in? Groaning she leaned forward letting her forehead thunk soundly against the table. It wasn't doing her stomach any good to be staring at the thing debating on hitting the send button or not.
Really. It was so simple of an answer that she couldn't pick it herself. She wouldn't even really be half ready to grab the thing back if someone were to pick it up and look at it.
