001- Getting Introductions Out of the Way

Dear Courtney and Mark
I know this will never reach you, since I’m writing it from my new dorm room at Starfleet…but it makes it easier to write if I pretend I have an audience. I know, I should be in Solara right now…guiding the future of Halla or something like that. I couldn’t just leave like that though. Maybe it was the adrenaline from the battle and everything I’d been through, I don’t know. What I do know, is that I need to stay in the physical world a little bit longer. I want to help people in a more direct way than Solara would allow me. I want a semi-normal life…and while this is a school in some future part of Earth…its still a school.
I guess, I can only hope that maybe you guys end up here as well. They’re recruiting people from EVERYWHERE…places in Halla I’ve never heard of or thought would be real. Based on their requirements though, I know you guys would be more than desirable, especially after all you did for Halla in the end. I think the only thing bothering me at this point is the fact that they’re mixing up worlds by bringing people here. I hope that nothing bad will come of it…but I guess we’ll just have to see.
I hope you can understand the reason I decided to come here…I can only assume it’s okay since I haven’t vanished back to Solara, yet.
All that aside, it’s really freaking cool being here.

Hello, I'm Bobby Pendragon. I guess it's Cadet Bobby Pendragon, now. How weird is that? I'm still getting my bearings here, you'd think traveling throughout Halla would prepare me for this place but apparently the universe is still full of surprises. Granted, the last time I was on a future Earth it was a decimated wasteland in the year 5010. We fixed that though, hopefully, which is why I'm here now.
Frankly, I'm just ready for a semblance of normalcy. I know that seems contradictory considering I'm at an academy to train you for work in space...but trust me that's way more normal than what I've had to deal with in the past few years.
