[Captain's Log/Unhackable]Captain's log, supplemental. Still not much in terms of information on how to get out of here. The analysis of the data gathered from the shuttle is largely inconclusive. I'm planning to build or buy several probes that we can send up to get more detailed readings.
There's some sort of plague or illness going around, most likely related to the meteor shower, tics, and smoke.
Everyone seems to be adjusting well, including myself. I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing. I don't want us to ever lose sight of the goal of trying to get out of here. Too many people here are complacent with being here.
On the plus side, at least the rest of the people trapped here are interesting, some more than others. 7 more days and I'll enjoy it even more, I think.[/Captain's Log]
These insects, the smoke, and the illnesses are interesting. Either the deities are not as all powerful as we might first think they are and things from outside the City can influence us here, or they enjoy working in odd ways. If the smoke was to get rid of the tics, couldn't they just make the tics go away like they cause the Curses to happen? Maybe they specifically aren't controlling the curses, more middle management or office drone deities rather than the ones completely in charge.
Spock, I think you and I should go out drinking tonight. You should spend at least one Saturday night of your life in a bar.
