[As is usual this time in the year, another new feather has arrived. Same white attire they always seem to appear in, same journal all the new Luceti inhabitants are provided with too. However the only difference is this arrival isn't awake to witness anything.

[Here's another person with green hair, who turns at the sudden shouting. She heads over quickly, not wanting to disrupt others with a further lack of volume control.]

This is a village called Luceti. It's a place where many people from many worlds and times are brought. I know it's a lot to take in at first, but I'll help you. Would you like to come with me to the Welcome Center?

[Someone she doesn't know is suddenly talking to her! Running a short distance away, but still within talking distance so not to shout, she eyes this other green haired person carefully.]

Hmnn...

[Just watching, very carefully. She heard everything that was said, but she's still being very wary...]

[Well. She's used to some wariness from New Feathers, but that's the first time someone's actually run from her. Still, she's not offended. Smiling reassuringly, Rydia remains where she is, letting the girl observe as she wishes.]

I'm Rydia. What's your name?

[Still watching. It doesn't seem like she's a bad person, but she's going to stay exactly where she is.]

Fuuko. [...] Please return Fuuko's possessions! [She's missing her party hat and starfish you see.]

I don't have your things, Fuuko, but I can show you where to find them. Clothes, weapons and other items all arrive in different stores. If you would follow me...?

[She gestures for the girl to follow, in the direction of the clothing store. That always seems to be people's first priority.]

[...Well if she really knows where her belongings are, it wouldn't hurt to follow along, right? Cautiously, she takes a step forward and nods.]

Fuuko will follow you for now, but don't try anything! Fuuko will sense it if you do... [So don't even think of sticking a juice box straw up her nose.]

[Rydia nods, looking solemn.]

I won't. I give you my word.

[She then turns, heading for the clothing store. Upon stepping inside, she pauses.]

You should be able to find your clothes here. I know it's technically a store, but you don't have to pay for anything. People just take what's theirs or what they need.

[Fuuko will come inside shortly after Rydia, taking the time to look over the store before stepping in.]

Does that mean Fuuko can keep any starfish that are found here? Fuuko will keep them safe. [Totally relevant question, giving they're in a clothing shop. Anyway, she'll run over to a rack of clothing and quickly look through.]

[That earns her a startled look.]

...starfish? I guess so, though I haven't seen any or gone looking for them. If you arrived with any weapons, I can help you find those, too. The shop next door ought to have them.

You haven't seen any starfish here?! Fuuko hopes they are only hiding then. Fuuko will find them, do not worry.

[A world without starfish? Terrible. Finding what she recognises as her school uniform, Fuuko quickly runs around the rack of clothing out of view to change. She emerges a moment later and runs up to Rydia.]

Fuuko has no weapons, the starfish are not weapons! [...] Fuuko has other possessions to look for. Do you know where Fuuko can find them? [That aren't weapons or clothing.]

[She looks the girl over and nods.]

Of course. There's an item shop, though it's not in the plaza. Still, it's not very far from here. I can show you that, too. Are you done here?

[starfishlovesu]

Fuuko would be very happy if you could show her. Fuuko is done with this place!

[Aaand she's already running out the door now. Don't worry starfish, Fuuko's coming.]

[Smiling, she follows her out and heads across the plaza.]

See the building just before that bridge? That's where we're going. I can't promise they'll have everything of yours right away, but if it's not there right now, keep looking over the next few days. Sooner or later, whatever you had on you at the time will turn up.

[Running, running- wait, so her starfish might not be there?]
You mean to say there might be no starfish?! Fuuko is devastated!! [And yet despite this she'll keep going, looking back every now and then to make sure Rydia is there. She's still a little suspicious, but if she's helping out she can't be that bad.]

[Rydia is still there, keeping her own brisk pace. Upon reaching the item shop, she enters and glances around curiously.]

I always come in here every once in a while. You never know what will turn up.

[Even though Fuuko got to the shop first, she waits for Rydia to go in and look about before going in herself.]

You never know what will turn up? So that means that starfish could turn up here!

[Rushing around, she's looking over all the items piled around for anything vaguely resembling a starfish or her party hat.]
