[Jumping into the water for a swim was not supposed to send a person to an entirely new world.
So! Have a very distraught lion, trying to understand what happened to him, why it's so cold (compared to Africa), and where the Pride Lands are.]

Okay, okay, Maka's read all about dealing with distressed animals. No sudden movements. Be calm. Hold out a towel.]
H-hey there, boy.

[But boy are you getting a strange look.]
What kind of monkey are you? If you're even a monkey.

She should be used to talking animals, she really should, but...it's a lion!
Well. If he can talk that means he can reason, and if he can reason he won't eat anybody.]
I didn't say cub, I just said "boy"! Unless lionesses can grow manes in your world.
...And I'm not a monkey, I'm a human.

What's a "human" supposed to be? I've never seen anything like you in the Pride Lands.
Reply
A human is basically an animal with advanced intelligence. You wouldn't see any where you live because humans tend to live in settlements away from where your pride would be. Lions and humans don't mix very well.

There are times, where you can't dwell on things that go wrong. Nothing good comes of it, and there's nothing you can do. So why worry?
[Back to singing, of course, as he sort of dances around her. Kind of encouraging her to sing along, almost. If she could gussy up the willpower.]
Hakuna Matata!
What a wonderful phrase!
Hakuna Matata;
