So yeah this morning >.< early afternoon was eventful. kev forgot to add water to his "Easy Mac' and let it burn through the bottom of the container for four minutes. i think our fire alarm is broken. The house still smells like burnt plastic. After that i tried to clean for my mom and washed some of the grodiest dishes I have ever seen *shudder* ( Read more... )

Ah yes, do I know from grody dishes (hidden in Matt's room since his last visit home, no doubt)! Solution: hottest water possible, LOTS of soap, and let them sit 10 minutes.Swish over with a sponge or bottle brush, change the water and fill again with slightly less hot and more soap. You should now be able to stand actually cleaning them, as 3/4 of the "grody" should be gone or come off easily.
Does Lifeteen still have the recorded message line? That should tell if there's pizza and prayer or not. 329-2144
I understand Matt has talked to you about Dennisport. Will you be able to go? The plan keeps shifting, but at the moment Dad and I will be there Aug. 14 (Sat) to Aug. 17(Tues). I'll come up with him Tues. night, sleep over here, then head down in my van Wed. AM. So far we have Aaron, Fal, Jason, Joe, and me. You and Matt would make 7. FYI, there is one bedroom, double bed and cot, which will be for 'the girls'.I may also bring my queen size inflatable mattress. The guys will have the Queen sofa-bed in the tiny liv.rm. and the double mattress in the loft. The beach is a few blocks away, nice and sandy. The cottage is tiny (think furnished garage) but clean with all neccessaries. Great shower stall! I'll have most of the food, but a trip for pizza will prob. happen, and we love a trip to "the Egg and I", a great breakfast place with an 'all you can eat' buffet! (they lose money on Dan!!).The kids will prob. want to do go-karts and I have to have a trip to Xmas Tree Shop. Another fav is the Paperback Cottage, where you can get good second-hand books and paperbacks. I hope you can come. If your Mom would like to drive down and spend the day, she'd be more than welcome, Kev and Meg, too, even Dad if he can get away. talk to you soon! -MomC.
