A Day with out Rain
Today was really nice, if not what I expected. I apparently was signed up to do a reading at church so I went, only to find out I was actually LEM-ing (Lay Eucharistic Minister um, -ing) so I got sort of thrown around and tried, semi-successfully, to deal with it. I have to say it all came out just being depressing, no one I really knew, or enjoyed being, with was there; I think I was just short on sleep, but the whole "growning up and being supported by your family and church as one" thing is kind of a joke, that just seemed to be the theme for that service. *shrug* whatever I knew that.
After that I kind of got pressured into going to the pool, when I really wanted to get some make-up work done, but it turned out to be a good thing. I got to talk with mom and had fun catching balls for Ryan and such. After that we (mawes and davis' minus dad) went to Jo and Owen's for a late lunch, f.y.i. don't trust the "no fat burgers". EVER. Then we split up, kev went to do baseball stuff with Dad and his friend Paul and we went to StarMarket. I actually got a lot of stuff I've been needing for my trip to Panama. That was lots of fun, especially picking out stuff for the kids. They said we could bring little gifts, I got bouncy balls and stuff and rubber turtles^^, they amused me, I hope they're ok. After that we went to Millenium Park and Bertucci's but Ryan was fussy so we left pretty quickly. And here I am now.
Ah marching band tomorow. Oh how i loathe shorts. I need some sleep. Night!
